1. What are the physical dimensions of the OVOPUR unit? (ie. height of the stand, height of the egg, height of the top reservoir, diameter of main body)

36cm(deep) x 28cm(wide) x 66cm(tall), 23lbs/10,4kg when empty on stand.




2. How long on average does it take to filter the 4 litres from the top tank?

It takes 20 to 30 minutes to filter the 4 litres from the top tank. The main bottom tank has a capacity of 11 litres.




3. How easy is the unit to clean, inside and out?

Very. The inside is made of plain white glazed porcelain and is as easy to wash as any other regular dishes.




4. What is the life time of the AQUACRISTAL filtration cartridge and how often do I need to change it?

The life time of the AQUACRISTAL filtration cartridge is 4 months. It is very important to change the cartridge every 4 months to prevent bacterial build up and pollutants overload of the filtration media.




5. What is the filtering capacity of the cartridge ?

The cartridge can filter an average of 2000 litres of water within its 4 months life time periode.




6. Do you have a list of contaminants or impurities that are removed from the water by the AQUACRISTAL filtration cartridge?

7. We have environmental sensitivities, and would like to know more information about the materials used in constructing the unit. Is there any plastic? What kind of finish or glaze is used? What is the filter housing made from?

Our unit has been designed to reduce plastic use and plastic contact with water as much as possible. Most of it is made of chemical free porcelain with lead free glazing. The filtration cartridge is made from hand blown lead free Pyrex glass. The only ''plastics'' in direct contact with water are silicone gaskets and some polypropylene separator parts in the filtration cartridge. Polypropylene is known as one of the most neutral and has been chosen because it is one of the most stable plastic available.




8. Does the OVOPUR unit comes with a warranty?
